Yellow brick road..

April 30, 2010

I live in district 4 of Quezon City. Towards the end of last year, if I am not mistaken, around December 2009, Maynilad(?) started “fixing” or improving (emphasis on fixing) our roads. Unfortunately, a little over a week before the election, they are still “fixing” our roads. For a couple of days now, we are experiencing some drizzly weather and I am afraid that come the rainy season, these “fixing” and improving will be far from over. To think that our whole community will have to endure all the muddy inconvenience these dumb nuts in the QC government did just to corrupt and pay for their 2010 election bid. Corrupt some more – they will in the future. Geeez!

Please do see images that I have attached on this post. Can you imagine all the mud and dust we are bathing ourselves with on a daily basis? I do hope that this blog post reaches QC government officials so that they can get their act together and expedite in actually “fixing” our roads. Be a friend, spread the word.

Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III on the cover of TIME Magazine ASIA.

April 22, 2010

Liberal Party standard-bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III graces the cover of TIME Magazine this month. For local readers, you can grab the new edition of TIME magazine at a new stand near you. For flips abroad, you can visit my site and order yours now =) .

Noynoy joins other prominent Filipinos who made the cover of TIME Magazine. They were former Presidents Manuel L. Quezon, Manuel L. Roxas, Ramon Magsaysay, Ferdinand Marcos and President Corazon C. Aquino (who was featured four times, once as Woman of the Year in 1986) and Manny Pacquiao. For those you still do not have Manny Pacquiao TIME magazine. There are still a handful left in our inventory, so please do check out our site .

No rude comments please.. =)

Georgina Wilson and Borgy Manotoc are now a couple

April 19, 2010

OK, so yesterday I was at the Rise of eldrazi pre-release (yes, I am a nerd) at ETON Cyberpod near Robinson’s Galleria. When my GF called me up and said that she saw goddess/dragon Georgina Wilson with Borgy Manotoc at Legaspi Market. Ok, so I thought they were just friends and stuff. You know what they say, birds of the same feather flock together. And their both good lookin. Then this morning, when I was listening to Mo-twister’s radio show and they were talkin about a “tsismism” that Borgy and Georgina were seen in Shanghai together.

Apparently, this site confirms that the two are now indeed a couple. If you look closely at the image I attached, you can see Borgy sporting a white shirt.

Georgina bein gorgeous..

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!

April 16, 2010

And then there were 16, oh yeah! Sweet sixteen. I am a BIG basketball fan (heck i just played ball this morning before goin to work), and we are now in the second half of the season in the NBA.

“The NBA playoffs” this is where the lights are the brightest, where you showcase the spectacular, and where you can be an immortal. OK, lets see what we have in the first round…

  • WEST
  • (1)Los Angeles Lakers vs (8)Oklahoma City Thunder
  • (2)Dallas Mavericks vs (7)San Antonio Spurs
  • (3)Phoenix Suns vs (6)Portland Trailblazers
  • (4)Denver Nuggets vs (5)Utah Jazz
  • EAST
  • (1)Cleveland Cavaliers vs (8)Chicago Bulls
  • (2)Orlando Magic vs (7)Charlotte Bobcats
  • (3)Atlanta Hawks vs (6)Milwaukee Bucks
  • (4)Boston Celtics vs (5)Miami Heat

Who wants a Lakers vs Cleveland Finals? ME! ME!! ME!!! If the Lakers and the Cavs do meet in the finals, it will be a MEGA bout. Similar to a Pacquiao vs Mayweather collision. I personally do not want the Lakers to repeat this year. I want a different NBA Champ every season. And……. I loose every playoff season in odds beating, I am really an unlucky gambler but I still gamble.. crap!

It will be an exciting NBA playoffs so fasten your seatbelt and hold on for a wild ride. Lets see if there are any surprises in the 2nd round.

People of the Philippines, LETS US NOT VOTE FOR PAC!!

April 16, 2010

Via twitter today from pacquiaonews/BoxingScene..

I don’t feel [Pacquiao] will win the Congressional race…[Filipino voters] feel they want him to remain a fighter. -Roach via BoxingScene

Come on people, do you really wanna see PAC as a congressman or as a boxer? You want the latter right? Hopefully he does not win. I still wanna see PAC beat the living hell on another poor soul, especially the trash himself Floyd Mayweather.

If I were PAC, I would just live a simple life and not be used by all the TRAPO that is using him right now. I suggest that he breeds (is that the poper term? hehe) other filipino fighters to be just like him. So when he’s career is over, we will still have someone to watch on a sunday morning and the crime rate on that day will be low and the entire nation will quiet and unite for just 4 hours. My 2 cents..

Whats up with all the mother feakin earthquake lately??

April 14, 2010

It is now 3:07PM in Manila, if you go to today. We just got news that China was rocked by a magnitude 6.9 earthquake.

My question is, what’s with all the scary earthquakes around the world???

Sooner then later, Manila will be hit by one. I just hope it will not be so devastating. I work in the 16th floor of a building, yikes!!

EFF you LBC!!! Hari ng padala my a$$

April 14, 2010

This is a rant post about LBC.

I would just like to say that LBC has “THE MOST EXPENSIVE” rates when shipping domestic. They just charge me P135, double the price of what I am used paying to with AIR21 and JRS Express. The tenant in AIR21 pick the wrong time to be late in opening their kiosk.

EFF you LBC!!!, you just lost one customer.

Sons, this is how you play defense!

I just got poked in the eye last sunday night. This is probably worse. Good Job James Posey.. lolz..

Simple tips to help stop Global Warming..

April 9, 2010

lets save the polar ice caps and help reduce global warming.
From ..

Plant a Tree

Trees suck up carbon dioxide and make clean air for us to breathe. Save 2,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year.

Use Recycled Paper

Make sure your printer paper is 100% post consumer recycled paper. Save 5 lbs. of carbon dioxide per ream of paper.

Change the AC Filter

Clean or replace dirty air conditioner filters as recommended. Save 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $150 per year.

Take Shorter Showers

Showers account for 2/3 of all water heating costs. Save 350 lbs. of carbon dioxide and $99 per year.

Buy Products Locally

Buy locally and reduce the amount of energy required to drive your products to your store.

Unplug Un-Used Electronics

Even when electronic devices are turned off, they use energy. Save over 1,000 lbs of carbon dioxide and $256 per year.

Buy Organic Food

The chemicals used in modern agriculture pollute the water supply, and require energy to produce.

Bring Cloth Bags to the Market

Using your own cloth bag instead of plastic or paper bags reduces waste and requires no additional energy.

Turn off Your Computer

Shut off your computer when not in use, and save 200 lbs of C02. Conserve energy by using your computer’s “sleep mode” instead of a screensaver.

Be a Meat Reducer (Im sure my GF will approve of this =)

The average American diet contributes an extra 1.5 tons of greenhouse gases per year compared with a vegetarian diet. Eliminating meat and dairy intake one day a week can make a big difference

Ditch the Plastic

2.5 million individual plastic water bottles are thrown away every hour in the US. Start using a reusable water bottle and just say no to plastic!
I guess I can also add/suggest people to STOP smoking.
